POSITION:
The beach of Torre Suda is located on the south-western coast of Salento, and is comprised of low laying rocky ledges. This location is great for those who enjoy snorkeling as the water is fairly shallow and a beautiful crystal clear turquoise in color. The nearest sandy beach is just a 3 minute drive north of Mancaversa. Torre Suda also has a newly constructed boardwalk that is great for strolling and jogging. There is also a newly built playground with panoramic sea views where families can enjoy snacks from the bar and let children play.

Relaxing, comfortable and highly recommended for quiet holidays
Very quiet accommodation in the middle of nature. You felt like you were at home. We also found the presence of the many wild cats very nice, it made us miss our pets a little less. Nice terrace with comfortable chairs, other seating by the pool, the quiet location, no noise at night. Very nice, well-kept environment with lots of plants. Since there were hardly any guests here in mid-October, we had almost the entire property to ourselves. Entrance to Tia Maria Ranch secured with a large entrance gate (openable via telecommander), car could be parked safely directly in front of the accommodation. We felt safe at all times. Access to Tia Maria is easy to find and close to the village of Racale/Taviano where you can find shops.
When we arrived we found everything we needed to start in the house (drinking water, toilet paper, washing-up liquid, washing-up tabs for the dishwasher, waste bags, including 1 bottle of wine and 1 bottle of olive oil.
Very good WiFi. If the internet failed, we could call and a technician would come immediately and fix the problem.
Huge, beautiful pool was cleaned daily. Beautiful environment design. Each house has its own outdoor shower.
Waste disposal/recycling is well regulated, solar panels on the roof. We always had enough hot water to shower.
Beaches nearby:
We found the Marina di Pescoluse beach (20 minutes drive) towards Santa Maria di Leuca to be the best place for swimming in the sea. Absolutely beautiful behind dunes, protected from the wind, fine sand, clean.
Torre Sudda (only 2km away) not really for swimming as it is rocky.
Punta della Suina beach (towards Gallipoli) is scenic, but extremely expensive (parking, deckchairs - otherwise no space in the sand), otherwise rocky.
Erholsam, komfortabel und sehr zu empfehlen für ruhige Ferien
Sehr ruhige Unterkunft inmitten Natur. Man fühlte sich wie zu Hause. Wir haben ausserdem die Anwesenheit der vielen wilden Katzen als sehr schön empfunden, wir vermissten unsere Haustiere so ein wenig weniger. Schöne Terrasse mit bequemen Stühlen, bei Pool andere Sitzgelegenheiten, die ruhige Lage, nachts kein Lärm. Sehr schöne, gepflegte Umgebung mit vielen Pflanzen. Da Mitte Oktober kaum mehr Gäste hier waren, hatten wir fast das ganze Anwesen für uns alleine. Eingang zu Tia Maria Ranch mit grossem Eingangstor (per Telecommander zu öffnen) gesichert, Auto konnte sicher direkt vor Unterkunft abgestellt werden. Wir fühlten uns jederzeit sicher. Zufahrt zu Tia Maria gut zu finden und nahe zu Dorf Racale/Taviano, wo man Geschäfte findet.
Bei Ankunft fanden wir alles Nötige zum Start im Haus vor (Trinkwasser, WC-Papier, Abwaschmittel, Abwasch-Tabs für Abwaschmaschine, Abfallbeutel, inkl. 1 Fl. Wein und 1 Fl. Olivenoel.
Sehr gutes WLAN. Bei Ausfall von Internet konnten wir anrufen und ein Techniker kam umgehend vorbei und behob die Störung.
Riesiger, schöner Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Wunderschöne Umgebungsgestaltung. Jedes Haus hat eine eigene Aussendusche.
Abfallentsorgung/Recycling gut geregelt, Solarpanells auf dem Dach. Wir hatten jederzeit genug Warmwasser zum duschen.
Strände in der Nähe:
Wir fanden den Strand Marina di Pescoluse (20 min Fahrzeit) Richtung Santa Maria di Leuca am Schönsten zum Baden im Meer. Absolut schön hinter Dünen, windgeschützt, feiner Sand, sauber.
Torre Sudda ( nur 2km entfernt) nicht wirklich zum Baden, da felsig.
Strand Punta della Suina (Richtung Gallipoli)zwar landschaftlich schön, aber überrissen teuer (Parken, Liegestuhl- sonst kein Platz in Sand), ansonsten felsig.

Location is perfect for discovering southern Puglia.
Very nice pool with numerous sun loungers.
Apartment is a comfortable size for 4 people. The sleeping options are also great. Overall good facilities. Linda was very helpful. Overall, a really nice place to stay.
Lage ist perfekt um das südliche Apulien zu entdecken.
Sehr schöner Pool mit zahlreichen Liegemöglichkeiten.
Wohnung hat eine angenehme Größe für 4 Personen. Die Schlafmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls prima. Insgesamt gute Ausstattung. Linda war sehr hilfsbereit. Insgesamt eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft.

Great support and welcome from Mario, we also arrived late at night. Large apartment with all necessary equipment in the kitchen. Very comfortable beds and pylons, so sleep like a baby: ) Nice pool, with all the beds sins. We used the grill almost every day having some ocptopus from the local fish shops in Racale. We hope to return next year. Best wishes to you and the Mario family!
Grande supporto e accoglienza da parte di Mario, anche noi siamo arrivati a tarda notte. Grande appartamento con tutte le attrezzature necessarie in cucina. Letti e piloni molto comodi, quindi dormire come un bambino: ) Bella piscina, con tutti i letti peccati. Abbiamo usato la griglia quasi ogni giorno avendo dell'ocptopus dei negozi di pesce locali a Racale. Speriamo di tornarci l'anno prossimo. Tanti auguri a te e alla famiglia Mario!
