Trullo Dorato

If you're looking to stay in an authentic trullo while holidaying in Puglia, this is the place! It is perfect for families and located right near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alberobello. The property is extremely well equipped, very clean and comfortable, and has a wonderful outdoor space with seating, barbecue and a lovely pool area, surrounded by olive trees in the Puglian countryside. The host, Vito, is very helpful and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. We were touched by his attention to detail, and so happy we chose Trullo Dorato for our stay in Alberobello.

Very good experience all around. Good communications throughout and perfectly clean for us arriving. Excellent location, close to lots of beautiful towns to visit. Easy check out process. Would recommend!

We loved our stay in our trullo! Vito, the owner met us there and explained how everything worked. He also sent us information electronically about different towns to visit. The trullo was super clean, and we had a welcome basket of goodies as well. The property is amazing! All surrounded by lovely fruit trees and flowers. We enjoyed one of the experiences offered, and Vito, the chef came to the trullo and cooked us a lovely dinner that we enjoyed outside. Alberobello was a very good base for us, as it was convenient to many towns that we visited and enjoyed, notably: Locorotondo, Matera ( one of our favorites), Lecce, Ostuni (close second), Polignano a Mare & Monopoli ( don't miss the boat tour). In our experience, it's always great when dealing with the owner personally, rather than a manager, as response is very quick. We would recommend Trullo Dorato without hesitation to anyone wanting to visit Puglia! It's a beautiful region, and Vito is a super host!

We spent a family holiday in this beautiful trullo in Alberobello. The trullo is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The beautiful gardens are very well maintained and you feel at home here. Our host also gave us a warm welcome and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. In just a few minutes by car you can reach the center of Alberobello. Alberobello is ideally located for trips to Locorotondo, Ostuni or Polignamo a Mare. We are happy to recommend this trullo. It is truly a unique and beautiful experience to live in a trullo.

Wir haben einen Familienurlaub in diesem wunderschönen Trullo in Alberobello verbracht. Das Trullo ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die schöne Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich hier wie zuhause. Auch unser Gastgeber hat uns herzlich empfangen und ist jederzeit für Fragen und Anliegen zur Verfügung gestanden. In wenigen Autominuten ist man in Zentrum von Alberobello. Alberobello ist der ideal gelegen um Ausflüge nach Locorotondo, Ostuni oder auch Polignamo a Mare zu unternehmen. Gerne können wir dieses Trullo weiterempfehlen. Es ist wirklich ein einmaliges und schönes Erlebnis in einem Trullo zu Wohnen.

5 stars - Beautiful Trullo and great host. We had a fantastic time in Trullo Dorado. It is a beautiful Trullo tastefully decorated and homely inside with very pretty gardens and a lovely pool. Vito and Guiliano were amazing, very welcoming and helped to book a surprise wine tasting for my parents 30th wedding anniversary which was a highlight of our trip. They also offer different experiences such as a piazza night where you can make your own pizza which I highly recommend! The location is great for trips into Alberobello(5 mins by car) and travelling further afield around Puglia's many beautiful towns. A perfect holiday for the 3 of us and hope to return soon. We would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Trullo Dorado. Vito and his partner, the owners, were fantastic and made us feel welcome. The place was lovely, very clean with a nice garden and a large swimming pool. There are lots of great places to go from the Trullo. Aborobello was an easy 20 minute walk which was great. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay with our two children. The villa is perfect for a group or family of 4, and had everything we needed. We were also amazed by the beautiful garden with olive trees, palm trees and prickly pear cacti. You need a car when you book this accommodation. In terms of location, the villa is a 5-minute drive from Carovigno, 15 minutes from Ostuni and about 10 minutes from the motorway. Vittorio, our host, was very responsive, always ready to help and flexible with our checkout. We would definitely stay here again.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno incantevole con i nostri due bambini. La villa è perfetta per un gruppo o una famiglia di 4 persone, e aveva tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Siamo rimasti anche stupiti dal bellissimo giardino con ulivi, palme e cactus di fichi d'india. Hai bisogno di un'auto quando prenoti questo alloggio. In termini di posizione, la villa si trova a 5 minuti di auto da Carovigno, a 15 minuti da Ostuni e a circa 10 minuti dall'autostrada. Vittorio, il nostro host, è stato molto reattivo, sempre pronto ad aiutare e flessibile con il nostro check-out. Ci torneremmo sicuramente.

The best accommodation we have stayed in, absolutely perfect. Vito was incredibly helpful and kind; the accommodation was fabulous - immaculate, cosy, everything you could need (particularly well equipped kitchen) - and the garden and pool were beautiful. Private and quiet with plenty of space inside and out to sit. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you very much, Vito.

This is a very beautiful and peaceful place. Just a 5 minute drive from Alberobello, we had the privacy we like, but also the option to dine out. We like to cook and the BBQ and outside eating area were good. Vito was very hospitable and knowledgeable of everything there was to know about the area. The pool and outdoor shower were clean and had a nice temperature. The trulle kept cool even though we had a heat wave. We highly recommend this place as it is a very good distance from a lot of sites in Puglia. Thanks, Vito!

Questo è un posto molto bello e tranquillo. A soli 5 minuti di auto da Alberobello, avevamo la privacy che ci piace, ma anche la possibilità di cenare fuori. Ci piace cucinare e il barbecue e la zona pranzo esterna erano buoni. Vito è stato molto ospitale e informato di tutto quello che c'era da sapere sulla zona. La piscina e la doccia esterna erano pulite e avevano una bella temperatura. Il trulle si è tenuto fresco anche se abbiamo avuto un'ondata di caldo. Consigliamo vivamente questo posto in quanto si trova a una distanza molto buona da un sacco di siti i Puglia. Grazie, Vito!

We had a fantastic stay at this Trulli home. The property and it's garden is stunning. Very peaceful and private and a short drive to town with local supermarkets, restaurant and the popular Alberobello. We cannot thank our host Vito enough. He was always responsive and went above and beyond for us to ensure we had a great stay. There was the offer of local experiences and dining experiences provided at this villa. Such a great offer and the food was amazing. We would highly recommend this home as a place to stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful Trullo in a very peaceful and beautiful location. Would definitely recommend a car to get about. The Trullo was a perfect size for the three of us but the outdoor space made up for this with several seating areas and a great pool. Vito was a lovely host and was very thoughtful and responsive to any questions we had. After a long day travelling Vito had supplied us with water, wine and some snacks which was fab and he also booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. Would definitely recommend.
