The three of us spent a very nice week in this great house. The contact with the house owner' s daughters was great, very nice ladies who were very concerned about our well-being. To start with, there was wine, coffee and Apulian pastries. They were very helpful and gave tips on restaurants in the surrounding area. Every 2 days they came by by arrangement to clean the pool. The tip to eat at the nearby fish restaurant was great. The house is cozy and authentic, was clean and has air conditioning, which we were happy to use. The beds were good and the small pool was a welcome way to cool off. In Santa Maria di Leuca we booked a boat trip to the grottos. Great. We really liked Gallipoli, it' s best to arrive in the morning, there is a large parking lot at the harbor near the old town. We also really liked the Spiaggia di Pescoluse beach. 3 loungers and 2 parasols for €25 seemed fair to us. We had a very nice time here in Salento. Many thanks. Best wishes Marco Pitzer

Wir haben zu dritt eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Der Kontakt zu den Töchtern vom Hausbesitzer war großartig, sehr nette Damen, die sehr um unser Wohl bemüht waren. Zum Start gab es Wein, Kaffee und Apulisches Gebäck. Sie waren sehr hilfreich und gaben Tipps zu Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Alle 2 Tage kamen sie nach Absprache vorbei, um den Pool zu reinigen. Der Tipp im nahegelegenden Fischrestaurant Essen zu gehen, war großartig. Das Haus ist gemütlich und authentisch, war sauber und hat eine Klimaanlage, die wir gerne nutzten. Die Betten waren gut und der kleine Pool war eine willkommene Abkühlung. In Santa Maria di Leuca haben wir eine Bootstour zu den Grotten gebucht. Großartig. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns Gallipoli, am besten Vormittags ankommen, einen großen Parkplatz gibts am Hafen in der Nähe zur Altstadt. Auch der Strand Spiaggia di Pescoluse hat uns sehr gefallen. 3 Liegen und 2 Sonnenschirme für 25 € erschien uns fair. Wir hatten hier eine sehr schöne Zeit im Salento. Vielen Dank. The house is wonderful immersed in an oasis of peace but at the same time 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches. We really appreciated the attention to detail that seems trivial but in reality you feel pampered and the whole thing contributes to the well-being for the entire duration of the holiday (towels, plates, tablecloths, everything is wonderful). The owners went out of their way to help us with our 9-month-old baby and I admit that this will always remain in my heart. In addition, our little dog had a lot of fun because the garden is very large and completely fenced. The swimming pool also with an outdoor shower helps to end the day in the best way. La casa è meravigliosa immersa in un oasi di pace ma allo stesso tempo a 10 minuti dalle spiagge stupende.
Abbiamo apprezzato tanto l'attenzione al dettaglio che sembrano sciocchezze ma in realtà ti senti coccolato e tutto l'insieme contribuisce al benessere per tutta la durata della vacanza (asciugamani, piatti tovaglie tutto stupendo).
I proprietari si sono fatti in quattro per aiutarci con il nostro bimbo di 9 mesi e questo ammetto che mi rimarrà sempre nel cuore.
In piu il nostro cagnolino si è divertito tantissimo perché il giardino è grandissimo e tutto recintato.
La piscina inoltre con doccia esterna aiuta a finire al meglio la giornata.

A lovely villa, well-located near Santa Maria di Leuca - an unspoilt seaside town. Fantastic VfM. We tend to self-cater only breakfast and cold lunch, so can't speak for the cooking facilities, but everything else was great. There were just four of us staying.

Beautiful spacious villa with a lovely raised pool area. Large grounds with olive tree and a covered outdoor eating area with barbecue. The host Paolo lives 5 minutes away and was attentive and communicative, always ready to answer questions over (Hidden by Airbnb) (or in person via (Hidden by Airbnb) translate!! ). Had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place if you want peace and tranquility in a lovely villa. Just one point to note - you will need a car as the nearest town (Leuca) is approximately 40 minutes walk (walking probably not to be recommended, especially in the dark due to lack of streetlights and the need to walk on roads) but 10 or so minutes drive.

The Villa Serena Maria is located on a beautiful ingrown property, hidden and not visible from the outside with mature trees. The location is ideal. It is about 500 m from the sea; these can easily be done on foot. And once there, you can swim directly into the large Dragon Cave or the smaller Lovers Cave, which we did before breakfast time and time again. The view of the sea (including splendid sunsets) can also be enjoyed from the roof of the villa's trullo. Due to its size, the pool is less suitable for swimming competitions than for cooling off. But more is not necessary. The villa itself is exactly as described. The three bedrooms (one upstairs, two downstairs) are quite large. The mattresses were fine. Unfortunately, there was no place for a dishwasher in the small kitchen, but this can be overcome. You're on vacation. La Villa Serena Maria si trova su una bellissima proprietà incarnita, nascosta e non visibile dall'esterno con alberi maturi. La posizione è ideale. Dista circa 500 m dal mare; questi possono essere facilmente fatti a piedi. E una volta lì, puoi nuotare direttamente nella grande Grotta del Drago o nella più piccola Grotta degli Innamorati, cosa che abbiamo fatto prima di colazione più e più volte. La vista del mare (compresi splendidi tramonti) si gode anche dal tetto del trullo della villa. A causa delle sue dimensioni, la piscina è meno adatta per le gare di nuoto che per rinfrescarsi. Ma di più non è necessario. La villa stessa è esattamente come descritta. Le tre camere da letto (una al piano di sopra, due al piano di sotto) sono abbastanza grandi. I materassi andavano bene. Wonderful stay with noteworthy welcome; location with absolute privacy but close to Leuca; even our little dogs had fun in complete freedom.

The villa is a little far from the center, located in a quiet area among the olive groves. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. There is a lot of greenery, which gives you a break from the sun. The entire garden is designed so that you can rest comfortably, prepare meals and spend a nice evening there. The garden is completely fenced, allowing the dog to run freely within the property. Inside the rooms are clean. The kitchen has the necessary utensils. The owner is very kind and helpful.
I have no objections. The villa met our expectations. We rest between the beach and visiting the surrounding attractions. We used the garden a lot, the rooms of the villa practically only for sleeping time

La villa è un po' lontana dal centro, situata in una zona tranquilla tra gli uliveti. La casa è circondata da un bel giardino. C'è molto verde, che ti dà una pausa dal sole. L'intero giardino è progettato in modo che possiate riposarvi comodamente, preparare i pasti e trascorrere una bella serata lì. Il giardino è completamente recintato, permettendo al cane di correre liberamente all'interno della proprietà. All'interno le stanze sono pulite. La cucina ha gli utensili necessari. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile.
Non ho obiezioni. La villa ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Ci riposiamo tra la spiaggia e la visita delle attrazioni circostanti. Abbiamo usato molto il giardino, le stanze della villa praticamente solo per il tempo del sonno

Amazing place! In the middle of the countryside, one km from the sea, great tranquility, large outdoor space which we took full advantage of. The owner is of rare kindness, very helpful in making us have a pleasant stay.

Posto incredibile! In mezzo alla campagna, ad un km dal mare, grande tranquillità, ampio spazio esterno di cui abbiamo sfruttato appieno. Il proprietario è di una gentilezza rara, molto disponibile per farci trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno.

Villa Serena is a perfect location for those who want to relax. We stayed at this property in May and made full use of the external services, including the swimming pool, modest in size but excellent for cooling off. The villa is well cared for externally and internally. The lower floor is very cool and therefore is not affected in the slightest by the lack of windows at garden level. The closest beach is felloniche which is a few minutes away by car. What can I say, a pleasant discovery. Congratulations also to Paolo, the very serious, friendly and helpful owner.

Villa serena è una location perfetta per chi ha voglia di rilassarsi. Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura nel mese di maggio ed abbiamo usufruito a pieno dei servizi esterni, compresa la piscina, di dimensioni modeste ma ottima per rinfrescarsi. La villa è molto curata esternamente ed internamente. Il piano inferiore è molto fresco e pertanto non si risente minimamente della mancanza di finestre a livello del giardino. La spiaggia più vicina è felloniche che dista pochi minuti in auto. Che dire una piacevole scoperta. Complimenti anche a Paolo il proprietario molto serio, cordiale e disponibile.

Paolo was very helpful, he made us feel at home and didn't let us miss anything. The house is large with many comforts to feel comfortable outdoors, a clean and equipped house, located 10 minutes walk from the coast and equipped with a swimming pool for the hottest days.

Villetta immersa nel verde con grande spazio esterno adibito a giardino con piscina e angolo per pranzare/cenare all'aperto. Proprietario gentilissimo e disponibilissimo per ogni nostra esigenza. Posto da consigliare non solo per il mare ma anche per chi vuole godersi dei giorni di pieno relax nella tranquillità del verde che circonda la villa.

We had two great weeks in a great villa. The dog was there too and no problem. Grounds are completely fenced. Paolo the landlord is helpful and super nice. He even drove us around in his car and showed us the highlights of the area. The rocky beach is easy to reach on foot. Great for snorkeling in the caves known for the area. Wir hatten zwei Super Wochen in einer tollen Villa. Hund war auch dabei und kein Problem. Gelände ist vollständig eingezäunt. Paolo der Vermieter ist hilfsbereit und super nett. Er hat uns sogar in seinem Auto herumgefahren und die Highlights der Gegend gezeigt. Der Felsstrand ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Super zum schnorcheln in den für die Gegend bekannten Grotten.
