We enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. our two boys became friends with the lovely kittens... mino gave us many usefull tips that helped us to have great holidays.

Casa veramente incantevole immersa in una zona tranquillissima ampi spazi camere super pulite, zona barbecue, piscina davvero bella e molto comoda se si hanno dei bimbi ci siamo divertiti. i servizi sono tutti vicinissimi ma serve l’auto per raggiungerli. le migliori zone balneari sono a 10 minuti di auto. i padroni di casa il sig cosimo e la moglie sono delle persone gentilissimi e cordiali che vi sapranno consigliare e coccolare per qualsiasi cosa avrete bisogno. consiglio a tutti esperienza iper positiva

Truly enchanting house immersed in a very quiet area, large spaces, super clean rooms, barbecue area, really nice swimming pool and very comfortable if you have children we had fun. the services are all very close but you need a car to reach them. the best beach areas are 10 minutes away by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. our host mino was very helpful and responsive to any request we had from day one. mino also provided numerous suggestions for eating and exploring.the villa is very private with a lovely pool secluded among many olive trees. there are many areas to eat, bbq, drink and relax at the villa including a natural grotto/cave in the rock. the accommodation suited us well - a family of 5 with 3 children aged 13, 11 & 9. a separate (v cool, we didn’t need air conditioning) bedroom with an ensuite bathroom for the adults which had a separate entrance across the patio (3 metres away) from the main kitchen and bedroom with its own larger ensuite bathroom - not an issue for us as the villa and surroundings felt very safe and secure. it is quite off the beaten track so a car is essential (that’s the only reason for only 4 stars for location) but it’s a very easy 2 hour drive from bari airport. there are 2 big supermarkets less than a mile away and one open late on a sunday which was useful. poggiardo has a market and is a nice, if slightly sprawling, small town with a few shops, a great pizzeria and pasticceria and other local eateries which we didn’t have time to explore. trattoria picolà in spongnano (10 minute) drive is well worth a visit.this part of puglia is much less developed than the further north area closer to bari and seems part abandoned part under development but it’s a very authentic experience. mino was super helpful suggesting restaurants and beaches nearby but it’s also worth the effort to see sant’andrea for rock jumping, lecce, otranto, santa maria de leuca and the ionian coast (maldives of salento) & gallipoli. all are no more than an hour’s drive away. otranto, in the old town within the historic fort, is great for drinks and dinner or a late stroll and ice cream on the ramparts – our pick of the cities!we loved staying here and would highly recommend the villa and location for any family or group who are adventurous and want to explore the far south. you can of course spend every day by the pool!

Consigliamo assolutamente villa enea .... abbiamo pernottato un gruppo di sei ragazzi per una settimana , la prenotazione è stata fatta due giorni prima dal nostro arrivo e nonostante il poco tempo per preparare tutto , nonostante fossimo i primi della stagione a pernottarci non ci è mancato nulla .... il gent.mo sig. cosimo già al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti in un punto e guidati fino ad arrivare alla villa .... camere da letto bellissime come le foto , utensileria ed elettrodomestici completi e funzionanti , comfort , piscina pulita e disinfettata è controllata dal proprietario quotidianamente .... zona barbecue , giardino curato e pulito e con addirittura spezie per cucinare terrazza con divani , grotta illuminata di sera dove poter cenare .... il tutto veramente incantevole .... ma il voto più alto va veramente al sig . cosimo disponibile h24 , ci ha inviato foto sugli eventi e posti da poter visitare , ci ha dato consigli sulle spiagge da vedere e ristoranti dove pranzare e cenare e addirittura una mattina ci ha lasciato sul tavolo cornetti e pasticciotti per fare colazione .... veramente non abbiamo parole per ringraziarlo di tutto quello che ha fatto ... grazie ancora di cuore dai ragazzi della calabria ❤️ vi aspetteremo un giorno per poter ricambiare tutto ciò che avete fatto per noi vi porteremo sempre nel nostro cuore ❣

We absolutely recommend Villa Enea.... we stayed overnight with a group of six guys for a week, the booking was made two days before our arrival and despite the little time to prepare everything, even though we were the first of the season to stay overnight there was no nothing missed .... the gentleman Mr. Upon our arrival, Cosimo welcomed us at one point and guided us to the villa.... bedrooms as beautiful as the photos, tools and appliances complete and functioning, comfort, clean and disinfected swimming pool which is checked by the owner daily.. .. barbecue area, well-kept and clean garden with even spices for cooking, terrace with sofas, cave lit in the evening where you can dine .... all truly enchanting .... but the highest vote really goes to Mr. Cosimo was available 24 hours a day, he sent us photos of events and places to visit, he gave us advice on beaches to see and restaurants to have lunch and dinner in and even one morning he left croissants and pasticciotti on the table for us to have breakfast... really we have no words to thank him for everything he has done... thank you again from the bottom of our hearts from the guys from Calabria ❤️ we will wait for you one day to be able to reciprocate everything you have done for us we will always carry you in our hearts ❣
