Buena Onda was born on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, thanks to young Italian innovators with roots in Puglia, driven by the desire to promote the local lifestyle after traveling the world.
Soon, they involved other Puglians who are native speakers of Russian, German, Spanish, French, American, Polish, all passionate about travel: thus, in 2014, Buena Onda was born.

The project actually has roots dating back to the 1990s, thanks to Daniele, Andrea, and Fabio. Daniele published house ads by phone in national newspapers, Andrea created one of the first vacation rental portals as his computer science thesis, and Fabio experimented with digital marketing from London.
Over the years, they specialized more and more in tech travel, developing technology for giants like Expedia (Venere), viaMichelin, Amex tour operator, Fiat, and collaborating with various University research centers.
