House with Pool on the Gulf of Castellammare

Pierre & emilybeautiful house, extremely conveniently located next to the airport and 15 mins from the village of terrasini and all amenities. the host gabriella and her family were very warm and welcoming, and reactive when we had questions. there’s a small cliff and swimming spot 10 mins walk on the cliff down the stairs. the best part of our stay were the sunset aperitifs and snorkeling along the cliffs. the pool was well maintained, the gardens were amazing with so many different plants, and the house had pretty much everything you needed for cooking. we had a great time making pizzas and using the wood grill. the rooms are nicely decorated to give a homey feel. thank you so much for a very nice vacation!il feedback che ha scritto per te pierre & emily:thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your reactivity! we really appreciated the warm welcome. you have a beautiful house.

We stayed @ buena onda for 5 days (jun30-jul6). 6 people (4 adults, 2 kids). as other reviews stated, beautiful location that overlooks the bay. location is great, near terrasini town (great night life, restaurants!!). pool is quite warm and was used every day!! some of the challenges we experienced - 1) check-in was quite frustrating: states 3-10pm, but we could not check in until 6pm. very frustrating, especially on our 20 year anniversary night. gabriella did, however, help make reservations for dinner at a nice restaurant in terrasini. 2) wi-fi is very unreliable thru the day. please be more transparent about this in advance. 3) only one roll of toilet paper is provided per bathroom. for $500/nt, it shouldn't be an issue. 4) beds and pillows are quite uncomfortable; pillows are wafer thin. 5) washing machine was not fully operational - wash ok, but no spin dry. 6) $250 cash was requested upon check-in; she waived it but be prepared. 7) a/c in main room did not adequately cool rooms at night (it was very hot the week we were there) 8) kitchen is small and may be difficult to cook for the max number of occupants, but it was well resourced.

We had a great stay at your house, the house and location were as promised by the pictures on the site. a few tips: provide more information on the house like were you can find everything, what you can use and cannot use. you should communicate to your guests what you expect when they leave the house. you inspected ours a day before but started complaining on a lot of things when we already left. futhermore: install airco's in all bedrooms, buy a new oven, buy a new refrigirator, buy a new washingmachine. everything is very old and can break down anyday (as we experienced for the oven and freezer). i read on the site that we should have paid eur 120 for the cleanup? why did you not communicate this?

Che vista da sogno! casa vacanze molto tranquilla, confortevole, piuttosto rustica con una vista incredibilmente bella sull'intera baia, inclusi splendidi tramonti. grande piscina (che si spera presto avrà dei lettini) con un giardino ampio e maturo che offre molta privacy. bellissimi angoli per sedersi all'aperto e semplicemente godersi...... perfetto con l'una o l'altra aggiunta (arredamento) . supermercati nelle vicinanze (circa 5 minuti in auto) ci siamo divertiti ogni singolo giorno

The house is well located, in a secure residence. the view of the castellamarre golf course is magnificent. we liked the typical Sicilian decoration of the house. despite the period, and therefore the temperatures (trip taken at the end of April) we were able to enjoy the swimming pool which is very well maintained. the bedding is not very comfortable (old bed base and mattress, not very good, and most of the beds creak at the slightest movement)... the management of the rubbish bins is problematic (the host may ask you to bring the waste in a collection point because the bins are not collected)... the toilets in the room do not work well (very low water flow, random refilling of the drain)... be careful not to use the oven and the air conditioner/heater at the same time. this will trip the electrical panel. the host asked us for a refund for the filling of the automatic irrigation tank which was activated when the electrical panel was restored...the feedback that Deborah wrote for you: the interesting evening warning travelers not to use it at the same time oven and air conditioner, otherwise the electrical panel would have tripped. and put a display that specifies that it is forbidden to use the electrical panel without soliciting the upstream host.
